E-Optim On-line Optimisation
E-Optim is the first ever optimisation site on the Internet and it's FREE - click here to try it now.
Why should you optimise your glass (or other sheet material)?
Optimisation is using the power of modern computers to try many more combinations than a human could in a short timescale. This usually means that the optimiser can achieve significantly better results than a human being. It will try as many combinations as it can to try to fit the ordered pieces into the stock sheets available, ensuring easy to cut, break-out patterns.
Halve your wastage
Typically, we have noticed for users cutting glass with an optimiser, that they will save approximately half of their material waste, which can be 20%+ with manual methods (we can often reduce this to 10% waste or less). We, therefore, expect you to be able to more than recoup the cost (if any) of running the optimiser on your material.
Why you should use E-Optim
E-Optim allows you to log into the site and optimise batches of rectangles to be cut from larger stock sheets. This means you don't have to buy an optimisation program. For small batches the optimisation is free so you have nothing to lose, and much less wastage to gain. Once you are happy with our service and if you have a need to optimise larger batches, you can pay a very small free per optimisation run of any size. E-Optim helps you cut materials that have a saw blade width (eg. wood, vinyl, plastics, etc) and for sheets that are guillotined or snapped (eg. steel, glass, mirrors, etc).
How does it work?
All you need to do is register for free and type your stock sheet details into the system, then key in the ordered pieces, submit the run and in a few seconds you can see the cutting patterns on screen and print them out. For larger batches, you pay a small fee by credit card (currently $1) per optimisation run of any size, but you can run as many smaller batches for free as you like. There really is no catch.
